Ambassadeur Hotel

The Hotel Ambassadeur is an 85 roomed hotel, opened its doors in 1961. It became famous as an important hub in East Africa politics. As the only upmarket African peoples hotel, it played host to East African presidents, Senior Government officials and civil servants as well as Elite Africans in various conferences and meetings of state. A notable regular resident at the hotel was the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta – Kenya’s first president.

Hotel Ambassadeur, Nairobi is situated at the heart of the city centre, next to one of Kenya’s Landmarks, the National Archives. Its has a combination of modern facilities expected of a cosmopolitan hotel with warmth and hospitality of Kenya.
